We are thrilled to announce that K2 Co-Founder Jeffrey Krilla has been elected to the Board of the Hawaiian State Society of Washington, D.C.! This prestigious organization plays a vital role in promoting and preserving Hawaiian culture, heritage, and community within the D.C. area, and Jeff is honored to contribute to its meaningful mission of celebrating Hawaiian culture in Washington, D.C.


The Hawaiian State Society is deeply committed to celebrating the rich traditions of Hawaii and fostering connections across its vibrant community. As a board member, Jeff looks forward to supporting initiatives that promote cultural awareness and build bridges between communities. One recent highlight of the Society’s work was its collaboration with the Washington Commanders to co-sponsor a special pre-screening of Moana 2. The event featured the Commanders’ players and coaches of Polynesian descent, showcasing the powerful intersection of culture and storytelling. Events like these demonstrate the Society’s dedication to bringing people together and celebrating Polynesian heritage in meaningful ways, while promoting Hawaiian culture and traditions to a broader audience.
